Administrative History	Opened in 1844 as a parish church serving part of Macclesfield (formerly in Macclesfield St Michael parish). In 1983 its parish was united with Macclesfield Christ Church and Macclesfield St. Michael. In 2010 it became the parish church for eastern parts of the town of Macclesfield.
